Growth and Survival Rate of Striped Eel Catfish Fingerlings (Plotosus lineatus) at Different Sizes

Striped eel catfish (Plotosus lineatus) are fish that live in coastal waters but there also those river mouths. This study aimed to determine the growth and survival rate of striped fingerlings at different sizes controlled media. used a completely randomized design (CRD) with three treatments (different sizes) replications, so were nine experimental containers. The treatment A: maintenance size (3.5-4.0 cm); B: (4.9-5.6 C: (7.0-8.0). During maintenance, absolute length gain, relative rate, specific determined. results showed fingerling had significant effect on performance survival. Fingerlings measuring 4.9-5.6 cm highest performance, while 7.0-8.0 than other sizes. indicates suitable for aquaculture.
